This project started off as a small idea based on the concept of community. Poetry has always been a constant love in my life. I decided to take this passion further and try to share my words and thoughts with the community of Columbia, SC. My short poems are meant to take people out of their every day routine and pause and think. I utilized the everyday object of rocks because of how common they are, but additionally how special I find them to be. I am gradually dispersing these rocks all throughout Columbia until I have made a total of 300. Each rock has its very own original poem. I will document each of these rocks and post them to my site. My hope is for you to share your experience no matter how small or large it was when discovering your rock.
